Bending film for markless bending of sheet metal avoids marks and saves your tools
STAR high quality bending film for laying over the bending tools ( the matrice ) helps to bend without leaving marks on the surface in the bending machine. A major problem in the sheet metal industry are scratches and marks on the surface of the bending parts which can occure through contact with the tools while bending. The sheet is scratched by the pressing force of the machine on the edges (radius ) of the matrice.
The function of this film is fairly simple. The film with a width of 100 / 150 / 200 mm ( other width can be delivered too ) will be laid on the side which has to be protected ( either on the bottom tool or up on the sheet ).
For fixing the film on the machine most customers use magnets.
